My plastic surgeon was out of town , so I scheduled an appointment to see Dr Begovic, since her office was in the same building, I asked for Juviderm injections on my face. Her response was “NO”. you already have enough product on your face. Such honesty from a plastic surgeon was a rarity. My previous Doctor would have given me the shots and pocketed the $600.
I subsequently visited her for Botox and the results was impeccable. In this instance, she also advised me against doing my forehead , just my crows feet, because she felt it looked more natural and she was right. I was so impressed with Dr Begovic’s work , I stopped seeing my old plastic Surgeon. I am particularly impressed by her warmth and ability to customize procedures to achieve the best results for me . So far, I have had Juviderm and Botox work done with Dr Catherine. However, in future, I intend to have Liposuction procedures with her.

First, I would like to say that trusting someone to perform any type of cosmetic/elective surgery is really entrusting someone in the highest degree. I came to Dr. Begovic without being recommended, just from my search for a Doctor to give me back the “Old Me”. Upon first meeting Dr. Begovic, I felt a real sense of trust in her words and talent. I made the decision to not even look elsewhere as, I felt she was the artist that I wanted to sculpt my body. She has shown the highest degree of care and consideration I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend Dr. Begovic to my friends and family based on my experience.
Her training alone is very impressive- she went to Harvard and UCLA- and her bedside manner is an order of magnitude better than any plastic surgeon I’ve ever met. She is actually nice, and is so excited for you when you are happy with the results. She really cares about her patients.
She doesn’t run her office like a cattle call for boobs and noses, when you are in her office, it is calm and comfortable, and Dr. Begovic takes time to work with you, and to make sure she understands what you want and need, and to address all your concerns.
Her work is meticulous, and I know multiple patients of hers and we’re all very happy with everything from boobs to Botox. Don’t think I’ve ever heard anything but compliments for her work.

When I met Dr. Cat Begovic. one of luckiest days of my life…From the very first meeting, I was very comfortable with Dr Cat. She explained the procedure and set realistic expectations. Dr Begovic is a Perfectionist, just what I was searching for.. Well, my expectations were exceeded by far. I now have a washboard flat stomach, slim waistline and the ugly fat rolls are not longer in my back.. Being middle-age and menopausal I found it virtually impossible to loose my abdominal fat.. Following the procedure I went from wearing a size 10 to a size 6/8 in 4 weeks. When I first decided I’d pursue the idea of getting a facelift, I planned that I would make 5 different appointments and talk to 5 different doctors. My first appointment just happened to be with Dr. Begovic. During my appointment Dr. Begovic answered every one of my many questions with a quick, exact answer. I felt so confident with Dr. Begovic I made my surgery appointment right then. I can’t believe how there really wasn’t that much pain. To the day, a month later, I can’t believe my eyes. Meeting Dr. Begovic is, medically, the best thing that has ever happened to me! I was in dire need of a complicated breast surgery and “perfection” is what I got. Dr. Cat is no doubt an amazing doctor to all her clients, but being a woman, she understood where I was coming from EXACTLY. I couldn’t have asked for a doctor that was more insistent in knowing exactly what my expectations and desires were, and for that I am forever thankful. Needless to say my surgery was flawless and I feel (and look) great.
I have continued to see Dr. Begovic for my other concerns, primarily tending to the aging process. I trust her advice implicitly. Furthermore, she is welcoming and encourages you to stay in touch, and open to fielding questions at any time (and I have many!). Communication is so important in the doctor/patient relationship, and she exceeds all expectations. Her office and staff are lovely as well! She has my highest possible recommendation.

I am an experienced professional in the health care industry, spending countless hours with doctors, in work and social environments…seeing the great, the so-so, and even the scary medical providers. All of which gives me the upmost respect for Dr. Begovic.
When you meet her, its obvious that she takes excellent care of herself-which was very important to me. Next, her kind bedside manner, her genuine interest in you as an individual, and the attention and time she takes to learn about your concerns and goals…well let’s just say you soon know you are in the best possible hands!!
I went to her for Botox in my forehead and for early signs of crows feet. ..and I was blown away with my results! She took her time, explained everything in detail,and took precautions to prevent any bruising. The results were immediately fabulous, and still are–feels like it took years of my face . I received so many compliments about how great I looked following my visit, without the obvious reason how or why!
I have recommended her services to my friends, and I even took my mom to see her when she was visiting me in Los Angeles. Dr Begovic called my mom several times after her procedure just to check up on her, even after she flew back east!! That said a lot about who she is as an MD and a person.

After losing 90 lbs I had a “tummy tuck” performed by Dr. Huang-Begovic. I found her to be one of the most caring,supportive, thorough and excellently skilled physicians I have ever met. My surgery came out wonderfully and she continued to check in on me long after the procedure was completed just to make sure I was doing well. I will never go to anyone else for similar procedures and have recommended her to all my friends. I am currently planning my second procedure with her and have no doubt it will be done with the same skill and excellence as the first procedure.

I am writing this review because I feel anyone who is considering plastic surgery needs to go to Dr Begovic. I cannot stop talking about my experience. I was very apprehensive in going “under the knife” due to so many crazy horror stories I’ve heard but when I met Dr Begovic, I instantly knew she was the doctor for me! She is a perfectionist with an impressive background (Harvard/UCLA) who really cares about her patients and because she is a woman, she really understood what I was going through. Before, during and after my procedure, Dr Begovic was very attentive, friendly and caring about the way I wanted to look. The staff members at her office are also warm, friendly and inviting. Not like most offices in LA! It’s been 6 weeks since my surgery and my results are amazing. I get so many compliments and I’m so happy! I can’t recommend her enough!!!

I had a Gastric Bypass several years ago and my biggest post surgery problem was the excess ”wrinkled” skin and fat that literally hung from underneath my arms. After losing 160 lbs there definitely is going to be a lot of excess skin. I consulted with 2 Plastic Surgeons who both told me that going to the gym and working on my arms and biceps would do nothing and it would have to be surgically removed for the best results. I had been completely inhibited by the way my arms looked. I wore only long sleeve shirts, or hid my arms with sweaters. My confidence was nearly nothing, especially in summer, Psychologically, I was so sad inside. Sometimes I wouldn’t even leave the house because the excess skin and fat affected my self worth on a daily basis.
When I met with Dr. Huang-Begovic, I was pretty desperate. I just wanted the skin and fat ”all gone”, and I really didn’t care how she would do this… When I came home my arms were very sore. I went straight into the bathroom to look in the mirror. I was ”amazed”. I couldn’t believe it, there, underneath the heavy wrapping of plastic bandages, stood 2 arms, totally toned with bicep ”definition”. The little I was able to lift my arms, not 1 once of fat or skin.
I am so grateful to Dr. Huang-Begovic for an awesome job but more importantly, she is a very compassionate and kind person who really cares how the patient feels.

I had surgery yesterday conducted by Dr. Begovic. I am absolutely amazed with the results in just one day! Firstly, I was reluctant because I feared the pain of traditional liposuction and the extensive recovery period.
Additionally, I was concerned because I was uncertain if Dr. Begovic could repair the insightful liposuction I had some years ago.To my amazement, I experienced no pain post surgery and my energy level was not impacted. After one day of recovery, I will return to work tomorrow. I have never felt in more capable and caring hands than those of Dr. Catherine Huang-Begovic, MD. Dr. Begovic has performed two different, surgeries for me and I feel she is the most professional, caring, qualified surgeon I have ever known. She is thoroughly up-to-date with all the newest technologies and treatments (and she knows the benefits and challenges of each) and she is great at managing expectations. I am delighted to write this review for Dr. Catherine Begovic, who I had the pleasure of first meeting at UCLA Medical Center last fall 2009, when she was completing her Residency in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Begovic is extremely kind and patient and and took as much time as I needed to discuss my concerns.
I didn’t realize how dark the circles were under my eyes until I had the Lower Blepharoplasty surgery. Now, my eyes look fabulous and I look so much more refreshed. Dr. Begovic called me by phone for the first 2 days following surgery, just to check -in and make sure I was comfortable and was doing OK!!
I am planning to have Artefill Dermal Filler injected into the deep lines around the nose and chin area in the very near future.
Dr. Begovic is a topnotch physician and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone. She also has a wonderful assistant, Veronica who is extremely helpful and makes you feel well-cared for and in good hands. Thank you for your wonderful work Dr. Begovic.

I had microbody countouring with Dr. Begovic last month. After only one month out post surgery, my results are astounding. The full results of my procedure will be seen over the coming months, but so far I am thrilled with my results. Dr. Begovic was awesome. Dr. Begovic is a fantastic and thoroughly caring surgeon… I am 48 years old and know I will never wear a bikini again but now I am confident and proportionate in my body shape. Dr. B is so genuine and caring I can’t rave anymore about her! I have worked with physicians for many years and you’d be surprised at the number of doctors, surgeons especially, that have no bed side manner. Dr. Begovic is a total exception to that stereotype. She was more excited over my results than I was at first! My first attempt at surgery had to be canceled due to very high blood pressure on the day of. Dr. Begovic took a personal interest in making sure that I was even a candidate for this by having me follow up with my personal physician in another state and even took time out of her busy schedule to have telephone conversations with my GP and the Cardiologist I ended up seeing. Once cleared for surgery I was able to have it. I never felt rushed and she made sure my boyfriend and I had access to her anytime we needed post op. It has been such a boost to my self esteem and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Begovic!
